Ebony is a wheelchair tennis player raised in Somerset, United Kingdom. She has Cerebral Palsy which mainly affects her legs, balance and her left hand side. Ebony was diagnosed at 18 months old and her parents were told that it would be very unlikely that she would be able to walk or talk and would need specialist care 24 hours a day. Her parents decided that they didn’t want Ebony to live a life where specialist care was needed and helped on a daily basis with exercises and speech therapy to get her walking and talking.
Defying doctors expectations, Ebony signed a contract with my current racquet sponsor Tenxpro and in February of 2019, took delivery of her own custom made to measure top of the range tennis chair.
This website has been setup to document her wheelchair tennis journey and to show people that anything is possible if you believe in yourself!
